What I was looking for in my"Glamorous" book cover design?

I was looking for several things for my book cover design.

(1) I wanted a cover that people would see on Amazon and go "Cool" or "Wow" and click on the image to read more about the book.

The cover is the first thing potential readers see. The first chance to "sell" the book and get them to want more.

(2) I wanted something that was unique and not like all the other covers in my genres of Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Fantasy. 

You would be amazed at how many novels with strong heroines have them on the cover in Leather! And carrying swords! 
So that was a automatic disqualify-er for any design - putting Grace in leather.

(3) I wanted a cover that gave you an idea of the characters and the story.

(4) I wanted a cover that looked good no matter the size. 

There are several sizes of book covers on Amazon. 
Have you thought about that?

• The cover on the main book page.
• The cover when it is found in a search.
• The cover in the "readers also bought" section.

They range in size from big to almost too tiny to see anything!

I think this book cover is amazing and met all my requirements!
